Software Installation Instructions
All software is offered in compressed format as a .ZIP file. PKUNZIP is
required to decompress these files. They should be decompressed into a
temporary directory or onto a floppy disk (all program sets will fit onto
a 3.5 HD disk decompressed). It is recommended that PKUNZIP.EXE
be placed
in the DOS directory or another directory in the path for easy accessibility.
The installation procedure is as follows:
- Download the ZIP file to disk or hard drive.
- After making sure the ZIP file is in its own directory, decompress
it by typing at the DOS prompt
PKUNZIP FILENAME
where FILENAME is the name of the downloaded file.
The file will decompress into the current directory.
- Go into Windows
- From Program Manager or File Manager run the SETUP executable from
the decompressed ZIP file. In Program manager select (from the menu bar)
File, Run, and type in the path of the decompressed file.
